Get to Know Me

Dr. Corrinne Kalafut is a licensed psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.  Dr. Kalafut works collaboratively with her patients, empowering them to develop the skills needed for improved emotional functioning and achievement of personal goals.  

 

Dr. Kalafut treats a variety of presenting issues and diagnoses. Dr. Kalafut's areas of interest include, but are not limited to: anxiety disorders, depression, executive functioning deficits, behavioral disorders, certain phobias, neurodevelopmental disorders and familial issues.

Dr. Kalafut graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology.  She continued her graduate training at Seton Hall University, earning her Masters of Arts in Psychological Studies, and an Educational Specialist Degree in School and Community Psychology.  She became certified as a school psychologist and has more than 15 years of experience working in this role.

Dr. Kalafut completed her Doctor of Psychology degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2012. She is licensed to practice privately in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Kalafut previously worked with the Morris Psychological Group before starting her own practice. 

​

Dr. Kalafut is a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association and Morris County Psychological Association.

 

Dr. Kalafut is honored to have been nominated as a New Jersey Favorite Kids' Doc for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
